Good app for giving my kids rhe opportunity to watch swedish content in the UK. It used to only show content that could be viewed outside Sweden, making it easy to choose what to watch. However, since the last update it displays all content but only saying that you can't watch it once you've selected a programme. Update removing content that can't be watched abroad again would be welcome.

Great and easy to use! Edit: Recently there's been LOUD trailers for other shows interspersed when playing on chromecast. Really bad and jarring. Please let us opt-out of these trailers or remove them completely. Nobody asked for them.

SVT Barn, formerly Barnkanalen and SVT B, is a Swedishfree-to-airtelevision channel from state broadcaster Sveriges Television dedicated to children's television programming. Barn is Swedish for children, whereas Barnkanalen meant The Children's Channel. (No relation to the British The Children's Channel.) In the first semester of alone, SVT Barn had a daily reach of viewers exceeding times the volume that Disney Channel has in Sweden.[1]
History
[edit]SVT Barn, then known as Barnkanalen, started broadcasting on 23 December During its first year it was only available from a.m. to p.m. on weekdays. The channel also took a "summer vacation" between 23 May and 18 August. The rest of the time could be used for other programming; some weekends, one could see tennis in the schedule.
The programming was aimed at pre-school children in the mornings and the afternoon programming was targeted at older children (pre-teens). The morning block featured special announcers that presented programmes from "the TV ship". Right after it had finished, the morning programmes would rerun immediately
